Precious Frog

In spring of 2022, I joined Fraser Valley Conservancy’s “Precious Frog” team in the field as they conducted surveys for Oregon spotted frogs, one of Canada’s most endangered amphibians. Their biggest threat: habitat loss.
Precious Frog is working to restore wetland habitat in the Fraser Valley, making it more “frog friendly,” and conducting research on these frogs to help recovery efforts.
Traps are set in wetland habitats during breeding season.
