Among icy trails and frost-covered fields, we had quite the treat this morning, coming across dozens of white-tailed deer and cardinals.

We explored Lynde Shores Conservation Area in Whitby, ON this morning. Extremely popular for wildlife viewing, Lynde Shores consists of 272 hectares of environmentally sensitive areas. It provides habitat for nesting birds and is a stopping point for migrating waterfowl and shore birds. It’s also home to wild turkey and white-tailed deer!
